Growing Saints

Family Newsletter * November 23, 2022

"This is what we are about: we plant the seeds that one day will grow. We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise."

-Attributed to Archbishop Oscar Romeo

From the Principal's Office...

Greetings!

The word Eucharist is from the Greek 'eucharistia' which means thanksgiving. As Catholics, we don't save Thanksgiving for just one time of the year, but practice giving thanks every time we gather at the altar during Mass.

This is a special time of year when we all join together to pause and practice gratitude. We will gather with family, with friends, in our homes, and at Mass. We give to give thanks to God for all the blessings we experience.

Please know we at St. Therese are grateful for each and every one of you. We are grateful for our school family and the opportunity to grow together.

St. Therese, Sts. Cyril and Methodius, pray for us!

Virtue of the Week November 28-December 4: Prayerfulness

Definition: Being still, listening, and being willing to talk to God as a friend

Prayer: Dear Jesus, I desire to have You as my best friend. Give me a desire to spend time with You each day, as I do with my friends. Help me always to put You first in my life, even when I am busy.

Listen to the Virtue Minute to learn more about prayerfulness!
