Senior Survey: A Graduation Requirement
1. Log into your Naviance account while logged in to your seq.org Google account on your device.
2. Go to About Me > Surveys From Your School > Senior Survey. Complete the survey.
3. Go to Colleges > Colleges I'm Applying to. Select Edit to update the result for each college listed. When you are finished, click on Update Applications to complete this required task.
4. Scroll down to the botton of the page for College That I Am Attending. Select the college that should receive your final transcript (shows that you were awarded a diploma). Click on Update to save your selection.

Community College Promise Programs
Free Community College: Seniors who wish to enroll in the Promise Program at our local community colleges (SMCCD or Foothill-De Anza) need to complete their 2022-2023 CADAA or FAFSA, regardless of family income. Use this worksheet (English; Spanish) to gather the required information.
Planning to attend a different community college? Check their website for a PEP/orientation event so you can register for classes this fall!
Next Steps
Some colleges have extended their deadline to accept or decline an offer of admission from many 4-year colleges. Check your portal to read through the terms (required deposits, academic expectations for 2nd semester, orientation, or other requirements).

Many 4-year colleges are accepting application for Fall 2022. Check here: Colleges Still Accepting Applications. Sonoma State & CSU Maritime are accepting applications. If you are interested in SFSU for Fall 2022, contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office at ugadmit@sfsu.edu ASAP. Many colleges, including some CSU campuses, have extended their deadlines to accept offers of admission. Check your portal/college account for more information.

Bright Futures Scholarship Due 06/12/2022
Seniors planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college with unmet financial need (not including loans or work study) can apply for this $1,000-$5,000 scholarship. One recommendation letter, transcript, and 500-word personal statement are due by 06/12/2022.
Elks Vocational Scholarship $500-$2,000
Seniors pursuing vocational training at a 2-year college or vocational institution can apply for this Elks scholarship by completing this application and submitting it to daynadjd@comcast.net for consideration.
Heritage Scholarships
San Mateo OCA Scholarship Due 06/10/2022
San Mateo County high school students who are Asian &/or Pacific Islander with plans to enroll in a college this fall are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Criteria includes financial need; community service; leadership; creativity; and academics. Winners will deliver a 3-5 minute speech at a ceremony in August 2022.

Seniors who are at least 18 years old and in possession of a current driver's license are eligible to apply for a full-time position of Unitd Airlines ramp agent. Starting salary is $19.05/hour. Complete the application and RSVP to attend the hiring event on 05/12/2022 at 8 AM or 1 PM.
Career Advance Intern (Paid)
Graduating seniors can apply for this year-long internship (24-32 hours/week) that pays $22/hour. Opportunities in several offices at SFO are available. Apply here.
San Mateo Library Learning Facilitator Internship
Seniors who will be 18 in June are eligible to apply for this paid position to provide summer enrichment at local libraries.
