Library Events

September 29th

Book Fair - Students are invited to come in at lunch and choose books for the library. Rediscovered Books will be here with a selection of books to choose from.

October 18th

Robots will be in the library at lunch. Boise Public Library will be bringing several robots for students to interact with.

October 24th, November 7th, & December 19th

Library Book Club will meet to discuss Love and Leftovers by local author Sarah Tregay.

November 16th

Virtual Reality at lunch. Boise Public Library will provide a virtual reality experience.

FCHS Book Club

Romantic and bittersweet, Love and Leftovers captures one girl's experience with family, friends, and love. Dragged to New Hampshire for the summer, Marcie soon realizes that her mom has no plans for them to return to Marcie's father in Idaho. As Marcie starts at a new school, without her ragtag group of friends called the Leftovers, a new romance heats up, but she struggles to understand what love really means.

Button Maker Fridays

The personal button maker will be available Fridays at lunch.

3D printing is coming to the library!

The library will be getting a MakerBot Mini on loan from STEMfinity. It will be arriving at the end of October and will be here for several months.
