Chromebook Insurance
Thompson School District has partnered with One2One Risk Solutions to provide optional accident and loss protection insurance for families for our district Chromebooks. Registering with One2One and purchasing a damage waiver will protect families from the full cost of repair or replacement for your district-issued device and limits your responsibility to a per-occurrence deductible.
The protection plan cost is $15 per device and covers the device through the end of the school year against accidental damage, cracked screens, fire, liquid damage, electrical surge and loss/theft (a loss/theft claim requires a police report for coverage). First incident has a zero deductible, second claim on the same device will be a $25 deductible, and the third claim will be a $50 deductible. A loss/theft claim without a police report will require the replacement cost of the device (this varies depending on the make/model of the device). If families want to take advantage of this optional insurance, please visit www.one2onerisk.com and select “Enroll My Device” to get started. Open enrollment ends on September 30th.
Return To Learn - In-Person Acknowledgement Form and A/B Group Assignment
- Completing the In-Person Acknowledgement form through Infinite Campus (Parent Portal). This is required of all students before physically returning to the building.
- Identifying which group your child is in for in-person learning, which begins October 26th.
Seniors Should Make Counseling Appointments Now
All seniors are encouraged to meet with their counselors in the next several weeks to review graduation requirements and discuss post-secondary planning. These meetings are referred to as ‘senior interviews’ by the Counseling Department. If a student is college bound, this is a good time to discuss information pertaining to college applications, scholarships, and financial aid. Each student is asked to schedule a 45-minute meeting, which will be held through Google Meet.
Please view the counseling calendars to make your appointment. Note: Parents are invited to attend these meetings as well, though parent attendance is not a requirement.
College Bound Senior - Video Resources
Loveland High School Counseling Department is excited to share information for our college-bound seniors regarding the college application process. A series of recorded videos has been created to help guide students through their college applications. The videos can be found on the counseling page of the Loveland High School website. Students should view all videos that pertain to their postsecondary plans before scheduling their senior interviews, which are outlined above. Please see video #1 for an overview of how to proceed.
Thank you for taking the time to watch this video series. We hope you find it helpful and informative.

Additionally, make sure that the email is not set to “private”. If you still have issues 24 hours after any changes, please reach out to Randi Willemsen at 613-5228, randi.willemsen@thompsonschools.org, or Kari Lintner at 613-5226, kari.lintner@thompsonschools.org.
