Excused Absences
Mr. Buckner, CAP’s Truancy Officer, wants to see all CAP students in school. Please be sure to document all excused absences. Remember that according to PA Truancy Law:
any combination of 3 unexcused absences = TRUANCY
any combination of 6 unexcused absences = HABITUAL TRUANCY
Habitual truancy requires an improvement plan for the student and measures may get more severe if not followed; see the Code of Conduct or the CAP Website for the full Truancy Policy.

Monitor your Health:
As we move into the holiday season we wanted to share with you some reminders:
If your child is not feeling well or has COVID-19 symptoms we encourage you to keep them home and monitor their health. If your child develops a fever 101.0 or higher, they must be 24 hour fever free before returning to school. We encourage anyone who is traveling or gathering with friends and family over winter break to take the proper precautions and keep everyone safe.

- Limit Children's Sugar Intake
- Keep Kids Hydrated
- Make Sure Children Get Enough Sleep
- Encourage Kids to Relax
- Remind Your Child To Wash Their Hands
