A note from Junior Achievement
Dear Parent or Guardian:
Are you looking for a way to volunteer in your child’s classroom? Junior Achievement has a great opportunity for you this school year! Ms. Wegman’s classroom will be having Junior Achievement this spring and is looking for a volunteer to lead lessons in her class. Junior Achievement provides fun and engaging teaching materials to classrooms, involving community volunteers as the instructors. Our goal is to help educate your child in the areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. The time commitment is just a few hours over the course of a few weeks.
If you are looking for new ways to get involved in your child’s learning, please contact us to find out how you can become the JA volunteer for his/her class. Junior Achievement provides all the materials and training necessary to make the experience successful for the teachers, students, and you as the volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering in this fun and unique way, please let your teacher know, or contact Erin Stephens at Junior Achievement at 319-862-1100 or email estephens@jaeasterniowa.org. All opportunities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Thank you!
Erin Stephens
