USDA Waiver for School Lunches

To MCCSC Parents: (Updated March 10, 2021)

Due to a recently issued nationwide USDA waiver for School Nutrition Programs, all students will qualify to receive FREE reimbursable meals. As part of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, this waiver is based on the exceptional circumstances of the public health emergency and supports access to nutritious meals while maintaining student safety.

This waiver is effective until July 29, 2021 or until Federal funds are depleted (whichever comes first).

This applies to a reimbursable meal only. All a la carte sale pricing will remain the same.

A reimbursable meal includes choices from 5 food groups; grains, protein, milk, fruit, and vegetable. A student must select a minimum of 3 of these and must include a fruit or vegetable.

If you are a virtual learner and are interested in picking up a weekly bulk meal pack, please contact our Food Service Department: Sherry Bell, sbell@mccsc.k12.in.us

“This institution is an equal opportunity provider.”
