Whether you are struggling with an essay, not sure how to invite you recommenders, not sure how to submit, not sure...LN counselors are here to support and encourage your college aspirations.
Today...FRIDAY...is the kickoff for GO! Week 2020 with our school and community adults telling students -- #WhyApply to college. Print off your own sign, write down your "why" and post to Facebook or Twitter with #WhyApply #LawrenceNorth #GOWeek2020 and we'll find you!

Weekly Schedule
COVID-19 Protocols
The COVID-19 protocols webpage is now live at http://www.ltschools.org/covid-19. This page has replaced the Re-Entry page on the district website and will house the most current information pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic as it relates to the MSD of Lawrence Township. While they may appear similar at first glance, the new page reflects the most current guidance and protocols from the Marion County Public Health Department, the Indiana Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). A graph of new Return to School guidance for students was provided this week by the Indiana Department of Health and is included below for your review.
Symptoms were also updated by the CDC to include:
- Fever above 100 º F when taken by mouth
- Sore Throat
- New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for students or staff with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
- New onset of severe headache, especially with fever
- Loss of taste/smell
Please do not send your child to school if they exhibit any of the above symptoms.
Thank you for your patience, your flexibility, and your commitment to the MSD of Lawrence Township.

Parenting Teens
Reducing the tension at home...
These days, beyond all the painful news, I have also been thinking a lot about stress in homes. I know I am not alone in saying that tense interactions in my home can happen pretty darn quickly with everyone around each other so much of the time. Many of us are now even more locked inside because the air quality outside (I live in California) is at unsafe levels. And, then, the hecticness of online school starting is making things worse.
Today I am sharing some ideas for parents in Tech Talk Tuesday to help decrease tension in the home. Focusing on what we can do — rather than what others are doing that annoys us — is key in bringing down our anxious feelings. And we all know that bringing down our own stress level works wonders in lowering stress in the entire home.Dr. Delaney Ruston
