We are celebrating the great news that we will be able to move forward with the purchase of the equipment needed to repair our castle! This is made possible thanks to our cookie dough sales and private donations. We sincerely thank everyone involved that allowed this to happen in such a timely manner! It's a great day to be a Cooley tiger!

The previously scheduled fundraisers, our fish fry and crawfish boil, are still in place. Profits from these fundraisers will go towards additional enhancements for our playground and upgrades in our school. The continued support of our Cooley community is appreciated!

• Students need to wear uniform colored socks.
• Students are required to wear athletic shoes daily for P.E. class. Boot season is over.
• Jeans should not have any holes, rips, or tears.
• Skirts and shorts (even on free bottom Friday's) should be an appropriate length, at least touching the end of fingertips with hands by sides.

All third through fifth grade students will be taking the LEAP 2025 state assessment April 26th - May 2nd. Please avoid scheduling appointments during this time.

Stella D. participated for the second year in the Federation Festival on February 11th at McNeese State University. She received the rating of Superior +. She played two songs on the piano: Pass the Pickles, Please! and Jumping Jazz Cats.

Addalyn G. began tumbling with Lake Charles Cheer Training about 2 years ago and decided to try out for their cheer team during the 2022 tryouts. She made the team and has just recently competed in her first 2 cheer competitions traveling across LA and TX over the past two weekends. Addalyn and her team did extremely well at both competitions and received medals/awards for both. She is very excited and hopes to continue cheer for LCCT and her schools as she grows.

Bingo Bash Celebration- Grades 2-5 have been working on Bingo Cards. Those with a blackout by May 1st will get an invite to the Bingo Bash.

4th/5th- 100 points

*Many students in each grade level have met this goal already!!! Whoohoo!
