E-SPLOST on the Nov. 3 ballot
On Nov. 3, Gwinnett County voters will be asked to extend the special purpose local option sales tax for education (E-SPLOST). Over the years, the E-SPLOST has funded educational capital projects that have benefited all students in Gwinnett County. It is important for Gwinnett citizens to be aware of the E-SPLOST and the district's plan for meeting the classroom and technology needs of Gwinnett's growing student enrollment. Learn more
The following message is from Mr. J. Alvin Wilbanks, the GCPS CEO/Superintendent.
We value your opinion! Please take a moment to complete this brief, confidential perception survey. Gwinnett County Public Schools will use the results of this survey along with student achievement results and other school data to rank Level Creek against other GCPS schools for the 2016-2017 school year. This survey will be accessible through December 10th. Hard copies are available in the front office as well.
Bus Driver Appreciation
This week is Bus Driver Appreciation Week! We are thankful for our wonderful drivers. They are the first person to greet many of our children in the morning and the last person to wish them a good afternoon before they return home. Remember to give them a big thank you when you see them at the bus stop.
THANK YOU, LCES BUS DRIVERS!

Children's Original Art - Square 1 Art
Your child has been creating an original artwork in art class. You have an opportunity for this artwork to be put on various products, such as mugs, ornaments, phone covers, etc that you can purchase from Square 1 Art.
These items make great one of a kind gifts for family and friends, and they will be delivered to your child before the Thanksgiving break (just in time for the holidays!). You will be able to order online or send the order form in to your teacher. Please add 6% tax to your order.
Contact Kathryn Adams at email@example.com with any questions. This is a fundraiser that goes toward paying for the Fifth Grade tile wall.
November 2 - Order deadline
November 19 - Products delivered to your child's classroom
Hero Day - Friday, Oct. 30th
For more than a century, United Way of Metro Atlanta has helped those in need. Your donation stays in Gwinnett County and helps to ensure that:
- babies are born healthy
- children enter school ready to learn and graduate prepared for careers
- young people avoid risky behaviors
- families are self-sufficient
- people have access to health care
- homeless people are housed within one year
On Friday, October 30th, students have the opportunity to be a HERO and help United Way. For a donation of $5.00 or more, students may come to school dressed up as their favorite hero.
*Please note that this is not a Halloween Celebration and students should not come dressed up as monsters, etc. Talk to your students about the qualities of a real hero. Your child may also donate and be a hero without dressing up since the act of giving is truly heroic. Donations will be collected in the classroom.
