From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
The Christmas break is here. Please practice safety precautions so that your children are able to return to school on Jan. 4. If you are traveling out of state, internationally, or are exposed to someone with COVID symptoms over the up-coming break please keep your children home for 14 days before returning them to school. We are being extra cautious. We need every family to work together to ensure that we are able to continue face to face after break.
Please note that Wednesday, December 23 is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30. There is no aftercare or afternoon bussing on early release days.
Also, I will be asking all staff to "shut off" their school emails this break so they can refresh and spend time with those they love. This school year has been challenging for all. Please honor their time and save emails and requests that come up during our break for January when we return to school.
Thank you for all you do to keep Seton Catholic face to face.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal
$10,000 Raffle is Back!
We are excited to share that St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School will once again be having our $10,000 Raffle. Each full ticket costs $100, but the ticket may be sold in parts. To win the full $10,000 prize, you must hold the full ticket drawn on March 20. Each of the quarter tickets are worth $2,500 and may be split among different people.
This year we have added two additional drawings. On January 20 at 1pm and February 19 at 1pm we will draw one ticket. Those winners will receive $100 and the ticket will be placed back into the drawing for $10,000 on March 20 at 8pm on Facebook Live. Get your tickets soon to take advantage of these early drawings.
Tickets can be purchased from any Seton family or in the Seton School Office. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
2020 Annual Fund Drive
We are an incredibly blessed school community. Thank you to all who have donated to our 2020 Annual Fund Drive. With many generous donations, we have raised a total of $98,271 and well exceeded our goal of $30,000. We are especially grateful for a donation of $70,000 from one of our Parish members. Every dollar helps to support Catholic education at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Thank you.
Seton Faith Development Committee
This school year, the committee would like to begin work on the following three goals as determined by our Seton School Board.
1. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a comprehensive plan for faculty faith formation that includes at least one annual opportunity for retreat and and one annual opportunity for service by the end of the 2020-2021 academic year to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
2. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a plan for at least one student-led Mass at each of our three Northside Parishes to begin in the spring of 2021. (May need to be delayed until the fall of 2021.)
3. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will explore at least three options for parent faith formation to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
If you are interested in joining this good work or would like more information, please contact Dr. Nardi at email@example.com.

Sheboygan North Catholic Parishes Wish List
You may have heard in the news that the CDC has released options to reduce the length of COVID-19 quarantines. I have attached the Sheboygan County Recommendations for your review. Seton Catholic will be using those recommendations as listed below. We will maintain a 14 day quarantine as we are in a setting with many people and the potential for spread. Please be diligent with safety precautions as we are hoping to stay face to face for your children.
14 day no symptoms, no test option:
This is a 14-day quarantine from Seton School. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or the day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school without a doctor note after 14 days and if he/she has no symptoms. These days will be tracked in the office.
7 day no symptoms, negative test option:
Quarantine can end after day 7 of quarantine with a negative test and no symptoms if the test was taken no sooner than day 6 of the quarantine. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school with a dated confirmation of a negative test and no symptoms. The days will be tracked in the school office.
Please note that household contacts are handled differently as noted on the recommendations below.
