Director's Update:
Greetings CHS Choir Families,
It is my pleasure to write and let you know that our Tenors and Basses have been invited to be part of a workshop that focuses on the tenor and bass voices in choral music. I'm extending the invitation to all tenor and bass choir students in our department to attend this exciting opportunity at no cost to parents/guardians. The choir ASB fund will cover the registration fee of $15/student.
If your student has a conflict with Saturday, January 27th, please let me know as soon as possible to help me avoid overpaying our registration fees.
The following provisions will be given to participating students:
- Continental breakfast located in CHS Choir Room
- Transportation to and from Parkrose High School Auditorium
- T-shirt for the afternoon performance at Parkrose High School Auditorium
The final concert, featuring Male Ensemble Northwest and the Workshop Choir, will take place at 4:00 p.m. located at
Parkrose High School Auditorium

Itinerary for Saturday, January 27, 2018
08:00 a.m. --- Check in the choir room at Century High School and get breakfast
08:20 a.m. --- Last call for a restroom break
08:30 a.m. --- Depart for Parkrose High School
09:15 a.m. --- Arrive at Parkrose High School
- register
- take a restroom break
- find seating in the auditorium
09:30 a.m. --- Workshop begins
12:00 p.m. --- Lunch
01:00 p.m. --- Workshop Resumes
04:00 p.m. --- Concert Hour
05:00 p.m. --- Check out with parents/guardians or board bus
05:45 p.m. --- Arrive back to Century High School
At the end of the day students are dismissed, please be ready to pick up your student as I cannot leave the school until all student leave with a parent or guardian.
I will make print off copies of the music selections. Students need to try to learn their part before we arrive on Saturday. Please scroll down for practice links.

Calling all men that sing! Join us on Saturday, January 27th for a day of singing and learning skills that you can bring back to your choir program.
- Learn musicianship skills.
- Sing literature with tenors and basses from the surrounding Metro area schools.
- Work with professional directors from the Pacific Northwest.
- Watch live performances that day.
- Get a cool T-shirt.
