Our Sunday School Team

We have settled nicely into a routine for our class. Teachers and children alike are enjoying getting to know one another. The children have become comfortable and most willingly volunteer answers when we review our lessons. We are all learning that raising hands and taking turns is important and we are beginning to value the contributions of our friends. Above all, we remind ourselves weekly of how much God loves us and cares for us.

Patrick Bonnie

I am a junior at Saint Pius X High School. I am 16 years old. I went to STM for kindergarden through 8th grade. I run cross country in the fall and participate in track in the spring. I am a National Honor Society member. I have 3 siblings: an older brother who is 21, an older sister who is 19 and a younger brother who is 12.

Kristin Klopotic

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I come from a large Catholic family. I am one of seven children (6 girls and one boy). I have lived in Atlanta for the past 21 years.

I have been married to my husband Chad for eight years and we have two children. Max is four and John is 21 months. We are expecting our third child in March! We have been members of STM for five years. This is my first year volunteering for SOR and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.

I left my career in Corporate Accounting when I had my first child. I am currently a stay at home mom and work very part time teaching CPA review courses on the weekends. It is quite a different experience working with four year olds and definitely more fulfilling!

Tara Ingle

I am so happy and grateful to have the chance to teach in our Sunday School class! Before becoming a mom to Madeleine, who is 4, I was a public high school French teacher for 16 years. Upon having her, my husband, Louie, lovingly agreed to let me stay home until she starts kindergarden. She attends pre-school a few mornings a week, so during that time I teach for Georgia Virtual School, which is the state department of education's online public school. I am currently teaching their AP French course.

My husband and I met 30 years ago, when we were in 7th grade. On and off again, we were sweethearts for many years. We finally tied the knot 5 years ago. We live in Grant Park and love being in the city. In all my free time (because if you are like me, there is just an abundance of it!), I love to jog and sew.

Thanks for letting us teach your children!

Our Class Prayer

Here is the prayer that we say at the beginning of our class each week.

Dear God,
This church is a family.
Help us to learn together
To worship together
To share together
To play together
To pray together
To come together
And to reach out to everyone with family love!
