Kahoot! An Interactive Engagement Tool
Kahoot is a great tool to increase engagement in the classroom and to determine what students are learning and where there is still confusion. Kahoot is an online quiz game that allows the professor to create new quizzes or use quizzes that someone else has made. Students sign in using their phones and the competition begins. The best part? Kahoot will break down how many votes each answer choice received, clearly showing the teacher and class where there was the highest level of confusion.

Easier Online Paper Grading Using Google Classroom
The OAKS Dropbox tool is great but falls short when it's time to grade writing assignments because it offers no markup features. Google Classroom's Assignment tool allows you to collect assignments, like in OAKS, but then you can easily add comments and mark up the assignment using Google Doc's Suggestion tools. The marked paper as well as the grade and any personal comments are then available to students when you are ready. It's easy. No more downloading papers and re-uploading them into OAKS.
