I hope this finds enjoying a safe and relaxing summer! I am so excited we are just two weeks away from the first day of school for our 1st-6th graders (don’t worry kinder, you’ll be coming soon on August 30th)!

Grass Lake Popsicle Social and Meet N' Greet
Classrooms will be open for you meet your child’s new teacher and to drop off classroom supplies. PTA will have popsicles for everyone, hope to see you there!

Information Items
- Main Office Opening August 15th - Our office will be open to public beginning Monday, August 15th from 9am-3pm. Please do not come in-person if you have any COVID symptoms, we would be more than happy to help you via phone (253-373-7661).
- 22-23 Supply Lists - Click here for the student supply lists for the 2022-23 school lists.
- Free COVID tests - The updated Department of Health COVID requirements for schools requires all students and staff who are experiencing ANY COVID related symptoms for any amount of time to isolate for 5 days if there is not a negative COVID test. Families in King county can receive up to 10 free at home COVID tests every month from the Department of Health, you can order those here: https://sayyescovidhometest.org
- Classroom Assignments - Classroom assignments will be emailed to families on August 24th. Our class placement change policy can be found by clicking here.
- Sleep Schedule - It is not uncommon for student’s sleep schedule to shift during summer, but waking up on time for the first day of school without any practice can be tough. Start shifting your child’s sleep schedule incrementally now so that first day does not come as a shock.Review and Update Communication Preferences - Click here to review and update your communication preferences so you do not miss any timely emails, text messages, notifications, or phone calls.
- Free- and Reduced-Price Lunch Benefits - There will now be a charge for lunch and breakfast for student’s who do not have an approved free- and reduced-lunch application on file. If you family qualifies for free and reduced lunch please complete an application (click here).
