Winter Scholastic Book Fair

Dear Parents,

We are excited to host our Winter Book Fair beginning Monday, December 6th- Friday, December 10, 2021. We will be hosting an event each day to invite your families into our school to shop with your students. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings kids the books they want to read. We will have a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level, and all purchases benefit our school!

All parents will be asked to park at the front of the building and enter the school through the gym door on the south side of the building. We are asking parents to only enter and exit using the gym doors and remain in the gym only to limit the distraction to the students' learning environment.

This year Scholastic is offering an E-wallet that parents can load with money for students to spend at the book fair. There will also be an option to purchase all items online and our school will still benefit from these sales. Please see the flyers sent home with your child for more information on how to set this up.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the book fair!

  • December 9th: Storybook Parade (8 am-9 am)
  • December 9th: Literacy Night (5 pm - 6 pm)
  • December 10th: Goodies with Grandparents (7:00 am-7:30 am)

Story book Parade

The Story Book Parade is a fun opening for literacy night, desiring to get students in the literacy mindset for that day. Your student can come dressed up as any book character of their choice- get creative! If your student is not able to dress up, that is okay too. This will be from 8:00 am - 9:00 am on Thursday morning. Parents can line up along the south side of the building and students will walk by for the parade route. See the map for location.

Literacy night

Teachers from the entire school will have stations set up for literacy (reading and writing) games with prizes and candy. This is a great time for you to connect with your child about the importance of literacy in their lives outside of school. This is also a time when you are able to come to the book fair with your student and get some great books at low prices!
