Thank you for selling pasta. Orders are in. We will have all of your orders available after school in the book fair and during the time of the dance. Pick up in the library (right where the book fair is going).
FRIDAY - 11/10 - DANCE AND BOOK FAIR TONIGHT - STILL LOOKING FOR SOME HELP
- Sell Books
- Sell Concessions at Dance
- Watch over the doors and hallways (not a bouncer, but just eyes to let Mr. Knaack know what's up)
ONE AND ONLY IVAN - RICHMOND FAMILY BOOK CLUB CONTINUES - DRAWING CONTEST
To stay on pace, you should be through pages 222 by next week.
There is no quiz this week. Instead, I am going to give a chance for families to show off their art skills. Ivan's special skill is drawing. I know there are some great artists out there. And since we are getting close to Thanksgiving, I thought we could get families to draw together. Draw a picture of the people, places, or things that you are thankful for. Send the picture to Mr.Knaack at knaackjack@aasd.k12.wi.us.
MONDAY - PTO MEETING AT 6PM IN LMC
Please join us for our monthly PTO meeting. We would love to have you join us to connect with other families and stay connected with some of the Richmond staff. It is a very positive group of people looking to help out Richmond as much as possible. Mr. Knaack will be there each week to answer any questions you might have.
TUESDAY - RICHMOND DAY AT JOSEF'S GYROS & KABOBS
WEDNESDAY - WE'RE Saying "THANKS A LATTE" to our Staff!
THURSDAY - SUCKER SALE
The 5th and 6th graders will be selling suckers again after school on Thursday. Each Sucker costs $1.00. All of the funds go to our end-of-year celebrations, class t-shirt and the chance to give the school a legacy gift.
MR. KNAACK - SURGERY DECEMBER 8th
I am a month away from getting a new hip. I know this can cause some angst when any of our staff members have to be gone for an extended period of time. I have a great colleague, Karen Brice who will be my replacement while I am gone. She was a long time principal of Horizon Elementary in Appleton. We are lucky to have her. Outside of not hearing my loud voice, I would bet everything else will feel the same for you. I am sorry I have to leave you. My plan is to return in the middle of January. We will keep you informed if that changes.
RICHMOND SPIRIT WEAR STORE OPEN
This week’s deal includes 20% off the Gildan long sleeve shirts and 15% off multiple other items. Just in time for fall. Many other specials. Check it out . All orders have a flat $4.95 shipping rate regardless of how much you purchase.
LUNCH AND BREAKFAST MENUS
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS AT RICHMOND
This is a reminder that all students get free lunch and breakfast at Richmond. Breakfast will be served in the classroom. Students are not required to take it. If a student wants only a milk for lunch, your student would need money on their account. The cost is $0.40 per milk.
