The SJM Robotics Club will be going to their INTERNATIONAL competition in Maryland!
They won first place in the state competition which was held in Charleston last Thursday.
Congratulations to Lilly Pitluck, Callie Gomez, Jonathan VonAchen, Jake Garay, Jayson Brecht, and Jacob Queen!
These students spent this year designing and building fully functional remotely operated vehicle submarines that have added contraptions for scooping trash out of water. They also had to put together the remote control from scratch including toggle switches, circuit boards, wiring, and lots of soldering.
CONGRATULATIONS Sharks!
