8th Grade Parents

8th grade students will be scheduling their freshman classes, next Monday the 14th. The high school counselors will be joining us in the library for the full day. Scheduling will take place during your student's science class.


We wanted to invite any parents who are interested in the scheduling process to join us for the hour that their student is in science.


Here is the schedule:


Hour 1: Majocha and Wachter 7:25-8:31

Hour 3: Wachter 9:34-10:29

Hour 4: Wachter 10:33-11:28

Hour 5: Majocha and Wachter 11:32-12:27

Hour 6: Majocha 1:25-2:20

TRACK Sign-ups

Track sign-ups will be held in the cafeteria, during PRIDE, Thursday, March 17.


Track is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders that want to participate.


Voluntary conditioning starts Monday, March 28. Conditioning will be from 2:30-3:00pm. Please make sure that you have a ride to get you home at 3:00pm. Students will not be allowed to wait inside the building.


Students must have a physical on file to participate in try-outs and conditioning. We partner with the Teen Health Center at Oakridge Schools. If you or your child needs assistance getting a sports physical, CLICK HERE for the link to the Teen Health Center.


Official practice will begin on Monday, April 11.

Hackley Community Care

Orchard View Middle School is proud to partner with Hackley Community Care. A mental health clinician is on site every day offering behavioral mental health supports to OV students.
