THE LOGGERS
By: Brock Riege
THE LOGGERS PERSPECTIVE
The Loggers are one of the most important users of the rain forest. The rain forest is a great source of wood, plants and many more resources. The loggers get wood for companies that make furniture and other wood items. Mahogany and Rosewood are a really precious wood to make these furniture items. Loggers have been here since the 1960s, and they have been selling the wood to companies since then. Loggers are a big part of the wood working business because they get wood from the trees of the rain forest and those trees are very very precious.

WHY THEY SHOULD STAY
The Loggers should stay here at the rain forest. The reason why that the Loggers should stay in the rain forest is that the resources that they get in the rain forest may not be in any other forest such as Mahogany and Rosewood trees. Loggers have been in the rain forest for about 50 years now and they have harvested only a little over 12,000,000 yards of trees in the rain forest. And some of that has grown back naturally and some have been replanted by settlers so its not like its dead forever.
