Ted EX Competition

Our school will be hosting our second annual TEDx middle and high school competition on Wednesday, March 27th in the cafeteria from 7:30-10:00 am. This event will showcase selected students who will present their speeches on the topic of “Triumph and Tragedy.” Our audience will also consist of selected students who will have a ticket to attend the event. If you have planning during this time, we would love to have you stop by and show your support to these students who have worked so hard on their speeches. The middle and high school winners will continue on to represent our school at the TEDx district competition. An SRA of the competitors and audience members will be sent out via email prior to the event.

Calling all Coyotes!

We are in search of female volunteers March 12th-15th from 2:30pm-6:30pm to assist students coming in pick out formal dresses for the Cinderella Project. This event is open to all students across the county. We need volunteers to help students pick out dresses and accessories and clean up if needed.

May Testing Schedule Released

Quarterly Checks – 3rd Quarter Information

The final Quarterly Checks are here! HS courses that have a Quarterly Check will test during the week of 3/11-3/15. Computer carts have already been assigned to teachers administering online and paper based materials can be picked up in the Assessment Office. MS students still needing to complete a QC will be called down individually starting Monday.

PLC’s will test as follows:

3/11-3/12 HS ELA & HS Science

3/13-3/14 HS Social Studies & HS Math
3/15 HS Make-ups in Media Center

Actionable Items

Submit a Faculty or Student Howlout!

Faculty Howlouts will drive our selections for Staff Member of the Week. Each week we will announce all of our HS and MS Coyote staff members of the week! These staff members will have their names announced on the intercom on Friday. At the end of the quarter the Staff Members of the Week will be invited to a special luncheon in their honor! We look forward to receiving numerous staff shout outs so we have many to select from each week!”

Student Howlouts: At the end of the week these students will be invited down to the flag pole in the center of the courtyard where we will have a Coyote Flag to be raised on Friday. These students will get the honor of raising the flag each Friday, and will have their names announced on the intercom! At the end of the quarter we will have a breakfast for all of our Students of the Week and their parents.
