UMHS Keystone Testing for Algebra 1, Literature and Biology

Each year Pennsylvania schools assess student knowledge of course-base standards in Algebra 1, Literature (Grade 10 students) and Biology. The Keystone tests are standards-based, criterion-referenced assessment used to measure a student's understanding of academic standards and also determining the degree to which school programs enable students to attain proficiency of the standards.

These assessments provide two of the five possible pathways for graduation. These pathways are enacted for all Pennsylvania grade 10 students and those who follow.

We expect and are prepared for all students enrolled in these courses to participate in testing. We appreciate and thank you for your cooperation. Please know that during these in-person testing dates, all District health and safety guidelines will be followed.
