We are so happy to have all of our students back F2F after our smooth pivot last week! Thank you to our parents and teachers for such a smooth transition online and back. I have been in many classrooms this week and am so thrilled with all of the learning and engagement that has been taking place. Our cubs are all working so hard and are always engaged! Way to go!! Keep up the great work! I look forward to visiting more classes in the upcoming weeks!

We would like to introduce Sora, a new to FBISD E-book/audiobook online system to help our students reconnect with books no matter where they are. Sora has some of the newest and best books around. It can be accessed through your child’s 1Link/Class Link account. You can also download the app on a device and enjoy from there. All our Cubs were shown Sora this past week in Library but if you would like to watch tutorial, please see your child’s Library Schoology course.

Re-entry into school following any of these symptoms: fever, runny nose/congestion, sore throat, cough, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell = 72 hours have passed AND parent presents either a doctor’s note stating alternative diagnosis (strep throat, Flu, allergies, etc) OR a Negative COVID-19 test result.
If the student is not cleared by the doctor with a note for return, or has not taken a COVID-19 test, the student must stay home until 10 days have passed since symptoms began.
Please ensure that if your child is not feeling well that you DO NOT send them to school. FBISD has very detailed protocols that we are adhering to. We want all of our students here and healthy but we need your support with this! Help us keep our students and staff well!
