The Principal's Post

You made it! Great job on a phenomenal year at Park Glen.

This year we accomplished a lot! Students learned how to read, write, and solve math problems. Students developed communication skills and collaboration skills. Students were involved in after school and during school clubs. Students built lasting relationships with peers and teachers. Our PTA put on amazing events, advocated for our kids and school, and supported our teachers. Students created and experienced deep-seated core memories that will last a lifetime.

We updated our mission statement this year that states at Park Glen we build relationships and empower leaders. We believe this more accurately reflects our campus and community values and priorities. Students at Park Glen exhibit natural leadership skills that will serve them throughout their academic careers. And because of how close-knit our neighborhood and community is, we truly value building trusting relationships as they are the key to a bright future for our students.

Shout out to our amazing teachers and staff that did everything this year to take care of your kids, we are blessed to have the staff that we do.

And shout out to you parents for partnering with us and trusting us with your child(ren), we cannot do what we do without your partnership.

Again, it truly was a phenomenal school year and I cannot wait for your students to get back next year!

Have a restful and fun-filled summer!

Summer Dreambox (Math Practice)

Hello Parents and Families,

This summer we want your child to continue building their math success and confidence by engaging with our DreamBox program online. Please see the attached flyer for great information on how to support your child with DreamBox learning and to set up your free Family Dashboard at home.

As your child completes 5-8 lessons (an average of 30 minutes total) each week on DreamBox, the adaptive engine will help close existing learning gaps and promote growth with math concepts and skills. Your child completing these lessons independently each week will set them up for success in the math classroom next year.

Thank you for partnering with our school and DreamBox at home during the summer. Please read over the attached flyer and let me know if you have any questions.
