PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
The holiday season is beginning and I am sending each family well wishes. I hope that you enjoy the time spent with family and friends during the Thanksgiving break.
WEATHER -- Cooler temps are here to stay and the snow has arrived. Please send winter clothing to school so your child can enjoy recess and feel warm.
If your child is ill, please keep them home and call school to let us know the symptoms so we can track what is going around just like we have in previous years. We need to keep kids home if they are sick so we are not spreading illnesses. Kids are getting sick from illnesses other than Covid right now. Please call your child's doctor if the illness persists.
Reminder that breakfast begins at 7:30. If your child wants to eat breakfast at school, it is free. Have your child at school at 7:30 so they have time to eat before class begins.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child or school.
Mrs. Michalski
NOTES FROM THE OFFICE
Thanksgiving Break: Thanksgiving vacation is Wednesday, November 24th through Friday, November 26th. Classes resume on Monday, November 29th. Enjoy the Thanksgiving festivities and Gobble till you Wobble!
Abrams Family Tree Decorating Project: Abrams Elementary has a tree in the lobby. We would like to have the students help decorate the tree by decorating an ornament. Every family will receive a blank ornament to decorate. Ornaments will be sent home on November 18th. This is not a contest and there are no prizes. We would simply like to have every family represented on our Abrams Family Tree. Be sure that your name is displayed on one side of the ornament. The decorated ornaments can be brought back to school anytime after the 27th. The ornaments will be returned to you on December 22nd, so that your masterpiece can be proudly displayed on your own tree at home. Thanks for helping out and taking the time for this family project.
School Dress Up Days:
November 12: Jersey Day
November 19: Camo/Blaze Orange Day
December 3: Pajama Day
December 10: Christmas Sweater/Apparel Day
