Christmas Craft Shows

It was a wonderful month, full of craft shows and fun events! Thank you to all who stopped
by our tables, visited with us, and bought some of our goodies. We are grateful for

all of you and hope you had a very Merry Christmas!

Easy Ways to Support Goodness Grows

1. Online Shopping! ~ If you shop Amazon, anytime during the year, you can support GG for free at the same time! Just use Amazon Smile and choose Goodness Grows as your charity of choice. Then, you get your items and we get 0.5% of the purchase price through this program! Check it out online at smile.amazon.com.

2. Volunteering! ~ Give of your time and get back lots of love and smiles! We enjoy having people pitch in and help with jam making, crafting, gardening...whatever we are working on. Maybe you even have a skill you could teach us!

3. Donating Items! ~ We are always in need of basic jam making supplies such as regular 8oz. canning jars, lids, sugar, and white vinegar.

There is good work being done right here and we would love for you to be a part of it!

Year End Giving

As a small non-profit, Goodness Grows depends upon generous supporters who give of their time, money, and supplies. A contribution to Goodness Grows is tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law. As you are pondering what organizations to support with your year-end donations, please consider a gift (one-time or on-going) to Goodness Grows. Your donations help us to continue our mission of working with people of all abilities. We want to say a big thank you to all the folks who gave in so many ways this year. We truly appreciate you!

Christmas Fun at GG

December was a busy month. We visited Whispering Pines twice and had fun decorating and blanket making. We decorated inside and out at Common Ground/Goodness Grows. We also spent time in the kitchen, making plenty of Jungle Jam as well as cookies, applesauce, and more. The Youth Group of Common Ground had a toy drive for their Christmas project and we had the wonderful job of taking those toys to the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office! On the Friday before Christmas, we enjoyed an afternoon of fun, exchanging gifts, eating pizza, and enjoying our time together celebrating the holiday. Currently, we are on winter break but we will jump right back to work next week!

Upcoming Event

Winter Wine Affair - Saturday, January 26

This is a one day wine tasting event at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. There will be 8-12 wineries there to pour samples and sell bottles of wine to go, gourmet food and craft vendors, along with live musical entertainment. We are very excited to be a part of this fun, local event! To purchase tickets, click here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/winter-wine-affair-at-stambaugh-auditorium-tickets-49101330401

Jungle Jam

Need more Jungle Jam or Juicy Jam? We are glad to make arrangements for you to visit us to pick up jam or for us to drop some off to you. Give us a call, send an email, reach out through Facebook...whatever works for you! We love to hear from fans of our jam!

CSA 2019

Keep an eye out for information about our produce subscription program for the 2019 growing season. We will soon be planning what to plant and then, before too long, it will be time to start some seedlings! We will plan to post the info - dates, cost, produce, etc. - on our website, Facebook, and in a newsletter by the end of January/beginning of February. Now is the time to start considering whether you would like to sign up to get fresh, local produce that we grow right here in North Lima! If you have any questions or would definitely like more information, just let us know.
