Cardinal Courier: May 14th
Where Learning Takes Flight
A Note from Mrs. Tallent
Happy Mother's Day to all our Cardinal Mommies!!! We hope you have a wonderful day and we hope our little Cardinals make it a very special day for you!
This last week, we got to celebrate our 5th graders at our 5th grade Manners Banquet. They all looked great all dressed up and did a great job of representing FCE at the Golf Club of Houston. Thank you to those who came out for our Art Exhibit, Choir Concert and GT expo. It was wonderful seeing our Cardinals shine in their own unique ways!
I would like to say a special THANK YOU to our PTO and all our parents for making sure our teachers and staff felt appreciated last week! I love that our community goes above and beyond to show their appreciation to the amazing staff that we have. I promise that they were tirelessly to give their very best to your Cardinals each and every day!
I can't believe we only have 9 1/2 more days with our Cardinals! There was a scheduling conflict and a change to one of our grade level picnic days/times, so please see the updated days/times below. We look forward to sharing this fun EOY event with our parents and hope to see you at Super Kids Day on Friday as well!

The PTO Needs YOU!
Parents, we need you! Without volunteers for critical roles, the PTO will not be able to support our campus in the same manner as we have before. Why join? You will always be 'in-the-know,' meet lots of cool parents, build rapport with your child's teachers/administration, give input on events and ideas, and support your child/their school! Sample open positions are: Vice President 1, Fall Fundraising Coordinator, Spring Fundraising Coordinator, Fundraising Support, & Online Support (One Cause). We have many roles to fit your interests and time availability. If you want to know more, please email our president at fceptopres@fcpto.com. Thank you!
