    more about our thanksgiving lunch:

On Thursday, November 17, 2022 we will be serving our Thanksgiving lunch at school and you will have the option to join your student on campus during their lunchtime. In order to properly prepare for the event (and by that meaning we order enough food, etc), we need to get a head count for lunches that day.

If you'd like to come to campus for our Thanksgiving lunch, please complete this brief form to RSVP. Having this information in advance helps us us to prepare for the amount of individuals coming to campus so we can have everyone safely checked in through the front office as smoothly as possible while following AISD safety protocols.

Adult guests can pay for their Thanksgiving lunch as they enter the line using cash (no bills larger that $20, please). Personal checks or credit cards are not accepted. Adult meals are $4.50 per person. You can also add funds to your child's SchoolCafe account and pay for your meal that way as well. This is an optional choice to buy a school lunch. You may also bring your own lunch for yourself and/or your student. We are looking forward to having this wonderful event back on campus this year!

    Junior Achievement Information:

We are excited to welcome Junior Acheivement representatives to campus on Friday, Nov. 18. They will be joining classrooms to provide lessons and activities to prepare our students for future success.

What is Junior Acheivement? Junior Achievement has over 100 local JA Areas across the nation, and together we are the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA's programs—in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy—ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.

Purpose: Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Help Patton in the ONE MILLION MINUTES Reading Challenge!

Dr. Mays, our Interim Superintendent, is challenging our school community to read one million minutes this school year. The reading challenge is open now and runs through April 30, 2023, across all AISD campuses. Students will log their minutes read on this Google form, so you might want to bookmark it or record by going to the Library Blend Course and clicking on the Million Minutes icon.

For ease, you might want to record in the form once a week by adding up your child's minutes read at home on a weekly basis. All reading counts!

Interested in how we're doing compared to other schools? Check us out HERE.

Good luck, PATTON Readers! Let's show this city how much we Pioneers read!
