I want to start by saying congratulations to all of our team and spectators on a wonderful meet last Thursday. As a coaching staff we were so proud of each of you.
This week is a busy week and we hope that you are ready to work hard. We have a lot to accomplish in and out of the pool. As you can see on the schedule, we will be sending all swimmers over to the cafeteria to meet with Athletic Director Volk to do a fifteen to 20 minute survey on their telephones. So on Wednesday all swimmers will be picked up at the Kinnaman entrance of Aloha HS. Thank you for participating and doing your part, So parents pick up will be between 5:15 - 5:30PM.
Many of you have asked how the meets will go now that they start at 3PM, all details will be found below. We are also looking desperately for volunteers for our swim meets following this week's. Please take the time to sign up, you are the way we make our meets successful. Besides, your swimmers will enjoy seeing you poolside. Our first priority is timers and a runner or two. The jobs are easy and we will train prior before the meet starts. More info below.
Also, this is our last fundraiser of the season. Please take the time to help your swimmer obtain sponsors. All of the info is listed below. We are trying to raise money to get team shirts for the district swim meet and any extra funds will go towards custom flags and a new sound system. Swim Meet vs Jesuit @ Beaverton Swim Center
We will be swimming against Jesuit on Thursday @ the Beaverton Swim Center. Swimmers that attend Aloha will have early release on Thursday. I will send out an email with the exact time by Tuesday. You will ride with Coach Dominique to the Beaverton Swim Center. We will arrive early and will have to wait either in the locker room or the spectator section until 2:15 when you can change.
For those attending Option High Schools, this will allow you to ride the bus to Beaverton HS after school lets out. You will arrive in time for warm ups. There is no need for early release. You should arrive by 2:20 and make your way immediately to the swim center. It is located on the east side of Beaverton High School in front of where the busses are located.
We are the visiting team again, so I will find out where we will set up but we will have your events and cards etc.. ready for you. Please remember to change and get ready as quickly as possible so you can get warmed up.

Volunteers needed for Our Home Swim Meets - Sign-up located below ***Very Important
Hello —
We need your help volunteering at our home swim meets. We have traditionally had the best parent volunteers and would like to continue that tradition. Your help is essential in making our home meets the most successful in the league. Our first home meet will be on Thursday the 19th of January.
We first need each parent to fill out the Volunteer background form that is required by the school district. It is extremely important that you complete a new volunteer form. We cannot use our volunteers without this process being completed in advance. Please follow the link below and take two minutes to fill out and send.
Second please follow this link and sign up for a position that is needed to be filled. We promise these are the best seats in the house and we will train you. Very easy to do. Shorts and flip flops are the preferred attire. You will get wet but you will also have the best seats in the house.
