SCHOLAR HIGHLIGHT - EZEQUIEL DOMINGUEZ CARRILLO

Ezequiel has worked very hard this year in not only AVID but in all of his classes. He has overcome many obstacles in his 1st year of middle school. He has grown into an amazing, strong, and level-headed young man who proves that HARD WORK PAYS OFF.

A Message from our PASS Mentor, Ms. Ruth

"I just wanted to say thank you to all of the scholars at Rancho Minerva, whether you were a PASS member or not. This past year has been a weird time for all of us, but I am so glad I got to spend it with the funny, kind, creative, and fantastic scholars at RMMS. I am so sad I won’t be back in the fall, but I am going back to school to become a middle school teacher in part because of how much you all inspired me every day. Have a great summer! - Miss Ruth"

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - JUNE 18, 2021

Just a reminder that next Friday is our last day of school and it will be a minimum day. You will be out at 11:30 am. Please remember that ALL school rules apply and any consequences earned will be attached the beginning of the next school year. Please do not bring anything to school that you KNOW shouldn't be here. We would hate for you to start of your new school year on suspension.

END OF YEAR RETURNS

It's time for the end of the year materials/device returns!

Classic Textbook Return–happening right now! Bring your books! Please watch this instructional YouTube video to view what's on your account and begin gathering the materials.

Fines will be applied to your account for all missing and or damaged materials. ALL electronic devices must be returned with their original charging cords, blocks, adapters, etc...

If you have any questions, please email (yukikochavez@vistausd.org) or call (ext. 64015) Ms. Yukiko in the library.

Virtual (& Classic device) Material Return–6/21-23

All scholar materials will be collected at the following times:

  • June 21 - 9 am - 11:30 am
  • June 22 - 9 am - 11:30 am
  • June 23 - 3 pm - 5:30 pm

Please come when it's convenient for your schedule during these times. Remember, ALL RMMS items MUST be returned in order to register for the Fall no matter what Vista school you attend. Textbooks, library books, and technology, including all cords.

CLASSIC SCHOLARS

Remember - you are expected to come to school prepared and ready to learn! This means that you have your Chromebook and it's charged up and ready to go as well as your backpack with all the necessary materials. If you need something, check in Scholar Services and we will be sure to get you what you need. Coming to school with NOTHING... is unacceptable.

COVID PROTOCOLS STILL IN PLACE

Just a reminder to our Classic scholars about the safety protocols that will be in place when you return to campus. If you choose to not follow these mandatory requirements, you may be moved to the Virtual model. It's everyone's job to keep everyone safe.

  1. You must get your temperature checked prior to coming on campus.
  2. You must have an approved mask that covers your mouth and nose on at all times while on campus, except when eating or drinking. No gators, bandanas, masks with vents. If you don't have a mask, we will give you one.
  3. Bring a re-fillable water bottle to school as all the water fountains are shut off.
  4. No sharing of food, drink, or other items. No sharing of anything :-(
  5. Scholars will have assigned seating in their classrooms AND at lunch.

Have a great weekend!

Ms. DeSanto
