Electricity
Conductors, Semiconductors, and Insulators
Conductors
Freely allow the flow of electrons with very little resistance.
Semiconductor
Do not allow electrons to flow freely but do not directly stop them either.
Insulators
Greatly impede or stop the flow of electrons with very high resistance.
How Are They Different?
- Conductors are very good conductors of electricity is a flow through them. Insulators do not conduct electricity. Semiconductors conduct electricity very slightly
