Broken Arrow Weekly Update

Looking Forward to the Week of MAY 1-5

Message from Mrs. Green

This week was full of memory making learning and fun! We celebrated our 3rd-5th graders finishing their state assessments with Kona Ice on Monday. First grade had special visitors from the high school! We celebrated the fabulous, Mrs. Walthall, for administrative professionals day! We met as Eagle Nests on Wednesday to discuss how we would use what we learned about Courage this month as we move to new schools. We will be using these courage feathers to make a big display at the front of the building. I will send a picture out when it is complete. We also had a Ms. Self's and Mrs. Bollig's class showcase their learning on Friday during their Wax Museum. We are all so proud of their hard work in creating their reports, their creativity with their costumes and props and their courage with speaking to their peers, families and even some people they didn't know! I am SO SO proud of these students and their hard work!

Monday is the first day of May! We have SO many things happening in May as we work to wrap up our learning for the school year, celebrate all of the fabulous accomplishments of our students and have lots of FUN as we make memories in our last month as Broken Arrow Eagles. Please see the information below for things that are coming up and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Bring on MAY! :)

We Are Going to UP and AWAY!!

As we plan to celebrate our students as the last class of Broken Arrow Eagles our Building Leadership Team came up with the idea to have everyone spend time together just having fun! What better place to do this than at Up and Away! So, on Monday, May 15th each grade level will be heading to Up and Away for one hour to play and make memories with their friends. This event with be FREE OF CHARGE to students. All we need from parents is to make sure their is a waiver completed for each child attending. The easiest and preferred way to fill out the waiver is to have parents go to the site and electronically https://upandawayplay.com/ If a paper waiver is needed, please contact the office.

EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE A WAIVER ON FILE TO ATTEND.

Please let me know what questions you have!
