Teachers! All K-8 classroom, elective and support staff we will have a meeting at 1:30 on the next early release day 4/26! For this meeting we're asking that everyone contribute some student work. Many of you were asked for this same work several weeks ago - we're looking for samples of student pre-writing including any graphic organizers, sketches, charts, graphs, diagrams, text annotations, Cornell notes, double-entry journals, brainstorms, etc. for ANY subject area (something different if you contributed last time). Please collect 1 or a few of these samples from your classroom before Apr. 25. Thank you!

Financial Literacy

To celebrate Financial Literacy Month in April, TIAA has partnered with EverFi to bring a free, online financial education program that helps adults manage their money more effectively, make personalized decisions that strengthen their financial future and gain confidence in their financial knowledge. During the month of April, the most lessons completed by parents and employees from one of the four Governor's Village schools will win $500 worth of school supplies for students. On May 1, we'll determine the total number of lessons completed by each school and notify the winning school.
