Bransford Blast

Student Holiday

Enjoy the three day weekend as students have Monday, February 20 off from school. Staff will be engaged in professional learning so we can continue to sharpen our craft to meet the needs of our Texans! Looking forward to see you back on Tuesday!

Jump Rope for Heart

Our Texans did an AMAZING job jumping and raising money for the American Heart Association. Bransford raised over $15,000 this year for the American Heart Association. All prizes should arrive in 4 to 5 weeks. If you have not turned in your pledges, there is still time to turn them in to Mrs. Atkins. Thank you for encouraging your Texan to give to this worthy organization. This is a wonderful example of our students being global citizens!

Forget-Me-Not Table

Thank you for helping us minimize disruptions to the classroom by placing materials on the forget-me-not table when your student leaves something at home. Shelly and Denise will call down to the classroom at the appropriate time for your student to retrieve the items. Thank you for not bringing the items to the classroom.

Spring Dress

As the weather begins to warm up, please double check your Texan's clothes before sending them to school. Please dress in layers with a jacket or sweatshirt for the morning. Thank you for checking the length of your Texan's shorts/skirts/dresses to make sure they are comfortable for play at recess and PE. Also, thank you for being good role models for our Texans on appropriate school dress.

Spring has Sprung?!?!

The Bransford Garden Club will begin our spring meetings on Wednesday March 1st at 7 am. This spring we will continue to learn more about growing our own vegetables by planting, caring for, and harvesting green beans and squash. We will also learn about the importance of bees and other flying insects with our butterfly garden. We look forward to seeing all of our little gardeners the first Wednesday of each month at 7 am: 3/1, 4/5, and 5/3.

If you as a family or Bransford organization would like to help with the garden, but can not make our meetings, you still can! We welcome your help by watering and weeding our garden on the weekend. Here is the sign up genius for the spring: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c054baaa922aa8-garden
