Why is it important to wear your seatbelt?
Wearing your seatbelt is very important and you can get seveirly hurt, if it s not worn, because if the car is going 70 mph, then you are too, but if the car stops, then you keep going 70mph while the car is going 0 mph, get it? But if you are wearing your seatbelt, then you and the car become one, so if the car stops, then you would stop too, because the seatbelt kept you from flying through the window.
How does waering a seatbelt apply to Newtons 1st law?
Newtons first law is , "An object in rest, tends to stay at rest, while an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force." Wearing a seatbelt applys to this law by, When the car is at rest, then you stay at rest, but when the car is in motion then you stay in mothion unless acted upon by a unbalanced force, for example if the car hit a brick wall, the car would stop because the car hit the brick wall, also known as an unbalanced force.
