Embedding Career Readiness
in ALL Content Areas
February 10, 2023 - 10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
With the rapidly changing workplace, it will become increasingly important for students to possess vital employability (or "soft") skills in order to adapt and succeed. Participants will learn about sixteen instructional strategies to begin instilling employability skills into the classroom, regardless of the age of students or their content area. The workshop will focus on teachers assessing their current instructional practices to discover creative ways to incorporate more employability skill strategies into their lessons and increase student engagement. This session will show you how to fit ACP into what you are already doing and increase student awareness related to ACP in your classroom.
This session is offered exclusively to CESA 10 districts participating in College & Career Readiness, including: Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee and Spencer. Discount will be automatically applied.
