Monday is a Holiday and the Bell Schedule for Wednesday has been changed (see below).
Below are more important dates, schedules and announcements to keep in mind for next week.

Important Announcements for Families & Students
- Wednesday is an A-Day (periods 1-3) and classes go until 3:15 PM as they usually do on Mondays. Please see next week's schedule below.
- Check the Parent Meeting section of the website for materials from Back to School Night, Tea with Principal and more!
- Grab and Go Food is available 7 to 10 AM each morning. No Barcodes required!
- Fill out and return all the re-enrollment forms HERE if you are a 10th, 11th or 12th grader! The first 3 Advisories in each grade level to have 100% of students turn in ALL forms will win a prize for every student in their Advisory! Email forms to sonia.ochoa@lausd.net
- Please Fill out the Gear Up registration form if you are the parent of a 9th or 10th grader.
- PARENTS - sign up for Parent Portal to see Course zoom links, attendance, assignments, grades and more!

Our staff is available by appointment only. To make an appointment to see us, please call 323-391-4908 and speak to Veronica, Mirna or Sonia.
Teachers - if you are planning to be on campus for any reason please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Email me and cc the entire office staff including the plant manager Sergio Ibarra at least 24 hours in advance
- If you have been on campus in last 14 days at least once per week, you must get tested for Covid-19 at an LAUSD testing site. Make an appointment here: https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt
- Wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others
Do you Need a Laptop or a Hotspot? Having Technology Issues?
All students should fill out the Google Form below to let us know of their technology needs. We are getting new laptops to replace the old ones as well as the Chromebooks.
News for Teachers
Announcements & Reminders for Teachers
- Wednesday is an A day Schedule: Periods 1 - 3. (College Classes will not meet that day unless they meet before 10 AM).
- We will have PD on Friday from 9 am to 9:45 am.
- The 9 week grading window opens Thursday, 10/1/2020.
- Apparently there are 2 places you can check the "Authenticated Users" only box - within the external tool AND in your meeting settings on lausd.zoom.us. Please do both for your courses.
- I'll be stopping by your Advisories and classes for informal observations the remainder of the year.
- Take attendance on MiSIS daily within the first 10 minutes of Zoom class and check Schoology Analytics the following day to update attendance by 3pm.
