God: What I Know and His Image

What I Know, Where These Ideas Came From and The Difficuties in Knowing God

I know that God is everywhere all the time. God knows everything through your mind and therefore can hear your prayers, goals, wishes and beliefs. These ideas came from research, reading, school work and basically just general knowledge. It is difficult to know God due to the fact that you cannot hear or see him. The important thing is to have faith and belief in him, trusting him that he is all around our world hearing our calls.

Here are some impressions of God from the following Hebrew Scriptures ( i have put a different symbol next to each to say if they are positive or negivtive )

Is 45:22-25

Deut 6:4-5

Ex 33:18-19

Ex 34:5-9

Ps 85:11

Ps 117:160

Ps 102:26-27

Ps 138:2

Ps 107:1

2 Sam 7:28

Job 42:2

Gen 18:14

all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.

deut 6:4-5 πŸ‘

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

ex 33:18-19 πŸ‘

And he said, β€œPlease, show me Your glory.”

Then He said, β€œI will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

Ex 34:5-9 πŸ‘Ž

Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, β€œThe Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. β€œLord,” he said, β€œif I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.”

Ps 85:11 πŸ‘

Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,

Ps 102:26-27 πŸ‘Ž

they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.

But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.

I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for your unfailing love and your faithfulness,
for you have so exalted your solemn decree
that it surpasses your fame.

Ps 107:1 πŸ‘

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

2 Sam 7:28 πŸ‘
