21-22 Registration is now open!
High school registration for the 2021-22 school year is open. Registration is required every year and is the time to update your student’s information and pay fees.
To register your child, you must:
Know ParentVUE login: You will need your ParentVUE login/password to complete registration. Follow instructions on the parentvue link if you do not remember your password or if you are new to the district.
Review/Update Information: Registration is the time to review/update information about your child, including phone, email, emergency contacts, health data, etc.
Pay Fees: At this time, you have access to pay all fees with the exception of course fees. Course fees will be assigned in September.
Thank you for taking the time to register your child and provide important information BVSW needs to plan for the 2021-22 school year.

The counseling department is currently closed for summer break. For questions regarding high school registration, student schedules or course fees, please note the following dates.
High school registration opened July 7, 2021.
High school student schedules will be posted online on Aug. 6, 2021.
Course fees assigned and opened for payment beginning Sept. 1, 2021.

BVSW PTO is gearing up for the beginning of the school year. As you logon to ParentVue and register, make sure to JOIN THE PTO and INVEST IN SOUTHWEST.
By joining the BVSW PTO and Invest in Southwest, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. Families are asked to join PTO ($40) and invest in Southwest (minimum $25) but we will graciously accept any donation you are able to give!
PTO provides: teacher grants, teacher appreciation, senior activities, senior paw prints, freshman class shirts, class and community spirit events, the ‘After Prom’ event, campus improvements and much more! PTO family membership includes one copy of the student directory.

2022 Yearbook Senior Ads - now accepting submissions
Attention parents of 2021-22 seniors: It is time to start planning the Blue Valley Southwest 2021-22 yearbook, which will be distributed in May 2022. As the parent of a senior, you have the special opportunity to place a congratulatory tribute in the book for your student. To qualify for a $50 discount, submit all materials (message, photos, payment) by the EARLY BIRD DEADLINE of 2 p.m. Aug. 27, 2021. No ads will be accepted after the FINAL DEADLINE of 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2021. There will be no exceptions.

2021-22 School year medical requirements
Dear parents/guardians,
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Immunization Program has implemented a new vaccine requirement for students in the 2021-22 school year. KDHE now requires two doses of the Meningococcal vaccine to be administered to maintain vaccine compliance. This information is to be submitted to the nurse's office or downloaded online thru Parentvue.
- Meningococcal (Serogroup A, C, W, Y): Two doses required. Doses should be given at entry to 7th grade (11-12 years) and 11th grade (16-18 years). For children 16-18 years, only one dose is required.
- Phasing in Meningococcal (Serogroup A, C, W, Y): For the 2020- 2021 school year: Children entering 7th and 8th grade: one dose of MenACWY at school entry. Children entering 11th and 12th grade having received a previous dose: one dose of MenACWY at school entry will complete the series. Children entering 11th and 12th grade with no previous doses: one dose of MenACWY at school entry will complete the series.
