LTSD Superintendent's Newsletter

From Dr. Vanessa Pereira Clark, Superintendent

Welcome to Fall!

October/November 2021

Welcome to Fall!

As summer fades into fall, we turn our attention to the end of the first marking period and all that we have accomplished since school opened on September 7. Our students are focused on school routines and have been working hard on academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and the visual and performing arts. This month's issue of the Superintendent's Newsletter illustrates student accomplishments and outlines upcoming events. Enjoy!

LTSD Red Ribbon Week Community Resource Event and Trunk or Treat

The first LTSD Parent University took place on Wednesday, October 27, and was a tremendous success! The event recognized Red Ribbon Week and provided the community with valuable resources. An enormous THANK YOU goes out to the community members who joined us.

In addition, the event was so close to Halloween that we combined it with a community Trunk or Treat for all of our students. Thank you to all who supplied the trunks, candy, and decorations. Everyone had a great time. Check out the picture gallery below!
