A note about Class Dojo and Edmodo.

Please consider being an active member of both Edmodo and Class Dojo. These are both tools that we use everyday at TOAST. Both are ways to communicate needs from the classroom and home environments to best support our community of learners.

On Edmodo, you can see a growing library of folders that contain videos, games, and activities relating to our curriculum. We use these all throughout our day and the kids love to extend that learning to home by showing off their knowledge and moves. Please make a parent account with the group code below today.

On Class Dojo, all behavior is tracked and rewards are given for those students with the highest scores. Parents can see how their children are doing while communicating quickly and directly with the teacher throughout the day as needed. Each parent has a unique code to get into this site. Therefore, if you misplaced yours, please send a note in the homework folder and you will receive a copy.

Both these tools help break down traditional barriers to communication and school success. Please join and have fun sharing in this community experience.

All About Me Poster Project Due: 9/21/15

The project will be sent home during the first few days in the homework folder.

This is meant to be a fun way to share knowledge about each student with the class. Feel free to add lots of color and extras as needed to the final product. Each day, starting on 9/21/15, several students will present their posters to the class. Once completed, all posters will go up on the wall for all to see and discuss. All posters will be returned later in the school year. Thank you for your support in building community this year.

Use these to get your kids moving while counting and practicing ABCs!
