Family Faith 2022 Update: Family Survey Results!
It seems clear that the majority of our families prefer to return in-person as much as possible. Below are the survey results:
- 55% of families voted for CHOICE A on the survey (Virtual Session if rain, snow, heat or cold. In-Person Session when weather permitting)
- 24% of families voted for CHOICE C on the survey (We don't prefer any Virtual Sessions. Only In-Person Sessions)
- 19% of families voted for CHOICE B on the survey (In-Person Session on Sundays, Virtual Sessions on Wednesday and Thursday)
- 2% of families voted for CHOICE D on the survey (We don't prefer any In-Person Sessions. Only Virtual Sessions)
Based on your responses, Family Faith Monthly Sessions for the remainder of the year will take place IN-PERSON, WEATHER PERMITTING. This means the sessions will be in-person, unless it rains, snows, too hot, or too cold. To ensure families know whether to attend class in-person at Sacred Heart Church or log in virtually, an email will be sent the morning of the session confirming how to attend class (In-Person 1 Hour Session or Virtual 30 Minute Session).
We look forward to see our families at May's Family Faith Session scheduled for the week of May 22! Please check these weekly Family Faith Newsletters for further updates.
mass readings for sunday, may 15: Fifth Sunday of Easter
As we continue through the Easter Season, we hear the Gospel messages begin to transition. During the weeks following Easter, Gospel Readings focused on Jesus' visits to the disciples, demonstrating everlasting life. In last week's and this week's Gospel, John shares Jesus' words and teachings, such as love, to his apostles prior to ascending to heaven. Jesus is preparing His disciples, who will soon carry out and teach His ways to others around the world.
This farewell address by Jesus instructs us to love one another. The essence of God is love, and God cannot but transmit love. We are asked to transmit this love to others, because we have been gifted with a relationship with Him. By showing love, we are revealing God to the world.

Spread Jesus' Message of Love - Your Choice!
This week, Jesus shares His important message of LOVE to us through His words in John's Gospel. As current-day disciples of our faith, we can spread Jesus's message to others.
Below are 3 ways to spread God's word:
- Sidewalk Chalk! - Use sidewalk chalk to share a message to the world.
- Messages of Love! - Create small messages spreading Jesus' love. Leave it for family members to find throughout your home!
- Create a Coloring Sheet of Jesus' Message of Love! - Use black marker or pencil and white paper to create a coloring sheet for a sibling or friend to color!
Choose one way and snap a picture of your work! Send it to catherinek@holyfamilyforall.org.
