Horizontal Translations, Vertical Translations and Stretch are all different types of a Parabola's Transformations. The y=a(x-h)2+k is a formula affects all of these types of Parabolas. The a affects the the Vertical Stretch, the h affects the Horizontal Translation and the k affects the Vertical Translation.

Quadratics was a hard for me throughout all the units, but later I realize my mistakes and tried to fix them, but it was to late. My point is Quadratics is very simple, but you must ask for help if you don't understand a problem or a question, so you can get better grades than those tests above.
