- Door 2 & Door 8 are both options for drop off. It is your preference on which door you would like to drop your child off at. Please pull up along the sidewalk before letting your child out of the car. DO NOT allow your child to cross in front of cars.
Dismissal:
- Dismissal bell rings at 3:35PM
- Walkers will be dismissed out Door 2 & Door 8 first.
- Next, the students riding buses and daycare vans will dismiss out of Door 2.
- If you are picking up your child, grades PK-1 (and older siblings) will be picked up at Door 2. Students in grades 2-4 will be picked up at Door 8. Please stay in your car, we will bring your child out to you.
Appropriate Dress at School
We consider proper dress to mean: For girls: dresses, slacks, jeans or shorts. For boys: slacks, jeans or shorts. We encourage students to look neat in their dress. The way we dress is the way we act. Short shorts, halter-tops and net shirts are not permissible. Shoes should be appropriate for safety and comfort. Please make sure that shirts and tops with (sayings) printed on them are in good taste. No alcohol, drug, gang symbols, satanic symbols, inappropriate language or pictures permitted. Any attire that disrupts the educational process such as clothing that does not fit appropriately, underwear exposed, spaghetti straps, midriff showing and hats in the building are not permitted.
Flip Flops: Due to several students’ injuries, our corporation has decided that flip flops will NOT be allowed on the playground. If your child wears flip flops to school, they must have a pair of tennis shoes to change into for recess. If they do not, your child will not be allowed outside for recess that day. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
STUDENT ABSENCES
EARLY CHECKOUT....
Students will not be called out of class until a parent is present to sign them out. Please plan ahead for appointments, as we would like to minimize missed class time.
E-Learning Day and Parent/Teacher Conferences
On Thursday, October 3rd, we will hold our annual parent/teacher conferences. Your child will not come to school on October 3rd. Instead, they will “work from home.” All assignments will be given to the students online. We will have open lab times for you to come to if you need a device or Wi-Fi access. Box Tops
Hello Families!
This is just a little note to let you know that our school collects Box Tops and we would LOVE it if you could collect them. Students can turn them in on Fridays for prizes.
You can find them on lots of packages, everything from school supplies to taco shells. Each regular Box Top clipping is worth 10 cents, and those can add up quickly when we all turn them in.

You are invited to our next PTO meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd at 3:30 in Room 13
