Dijanna Figueroa
Dijanna wanted to be a marine bilogist every since she was little. She spends 12 hours a day in the lab studing metabolisms of creatures. When she goes down in the water the water pressure is so great that it could crush a human being. Dijanna appeared in the IMAX film Aliens of the Deep. She has a PhD in Marine Science from the University of California and works as a project scientist at the Marine Science Institute of California.
Jon Bohmer
Jon made an oven using foil, cardboard, black paint, and some sunlight. This only is $5 to make. This gets hot enough to boil water and cook food! People in the country had to boil water to get all the germs out and took a long time so this helped a lot. This was easier to heat things up. Jon made another oven with recycled plastics which helped the environment a lot.
Mitchell W. Pryor
Mitchell went to college to build robots. He recieved his PhD from University of Texas. He teaches graduate adn undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering. He was hired on September 1st, 1995. Mitchell makes $109,417 a year. He is a lecturer in Deptartment of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Agnes Riley
Agnes can find anything wrong with a computer. She didn't grow up with a computer Agnes is an expert in technology. In 1999 Agnes moved to New York City and took the exam to become a licensed computer technologist. Agnes enjoys sking, movies, photography, and riding her motorcycle. She was born in Hungary and loves solving problems.
