One of the main contributing factors to overall comprehension is vocabulary, and this is true for mathematics as well. There are many different strategies and methods for teaching and learning vocabulary, and many of these strategies could be utilized across disciplines. In this session, we will explore these vocabulary instruction strategies to help our learners to be more proficient.

It is important in mathematics for students to have efficient and effective methods for solving various types of problems. In addition, we want our learners to be flexible thinkers. In this session, we will explore the Learning Theory Trajectory through the lens of mastering facts from Skill Acquisition to Fluency Building to Application.
