The Forbidden City
The Yuan Dynasty was the next dynasty after the Ming Dynasty. They were prideful of their extraordinary heritage they built buildings in Beijing. And all those building made up the Forbidden City. It was built only for the emperor's family and servants to live there. Everyone else around it besides government officials and guards were prohibited to go there. The entire city was protected by walls The halls within the walls were used for religious ceremonies and government ceremonies. They're all isolated by unoccupied space. There were three palaces for the imperial family. Dragons represented the emperor and peacocks represented the empress. These were placed all over these palaces. Another luxury they inquired was streams filled with goldfish among all buildings. Gardens accompanied the rest of their amenities. The Forbidden City was filled with many treasures, but there are many secrets left to be unfold.
