Every Student Counts, Every Moment Matters!
A Message from Principal Webb
Thank you so much for all of your help, assisting your child to be prepared for the chilly weather. If you are missing anything, you will want to check out the lost and found on Parent Teacher Conference day (or before).
Pupil Progress Reports (report cards) will be coming home a few days before conferences this year. We will send your child's conference report home with them in an envelope. This will allow you to view how your student is performing on the grade level standards and come to conferences with any questions. Parent-teacher conferences is another great opportunity to stop in and visit with the specials teachers( Music, PE, Art, and Library) too. Our goal is to have 100% participation. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Box Party on October 26th for Longfellow Students
The Children's Museum "Not a Box Party" is coming to Longfellow students! Based on the children's book, "Not a Box," by Antoinette Portis, children are encouraged to follow their imaginations as they collaboratively create structures out of simple cardboard.
The Children's Museum will be bringing a U-Haul full of boxes and lots of masking tape to Longfellow. Classes will come through in waves, building and designing structures that become more elaborate as the time passes.
Parents, we need your help for this magical event! Parent volunteers will help unload and load the cardboard boxes and assist with cutting cardboard according to the children's specifications. Box cutters will be provided!
Come to help for all or part of the event. Younger siblings are welcome with their parent volunteers!
