Model UN Update
Exciting News: Kaycee Duffey to Serve as Model UN Advisor!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news that will allow our students to continue participating in the wonderful world of Model United Nations. We are pleased to announce that our very own Kaycee Duffey, our dedicated Chemistry teacher, has volunteered to take on the role of Model UN Advisor.
If your child is already part of the Model UN team or has shown an interest in joining, please encourage them to reach out to Ms. Duffey for more information about meetings, upcoming events, and how they can get involved. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Model UN at our school, please feel free to contact Ms. Duffey at kduffey@fhps.net

College Admissions & Application Process- September 20th
Forest Hills Central, Eastern & Northern Academic Boosters Groups Present..
THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS AND APPLICATION PROCESS
September 20, 2023 at 7:00 pm
at Forest Hills Fine Arts Center
Parents/Caregivers of all FHC, FHE, and FHN high school students are invited to discuss what colleges look for in prospective students and how we can support our children in this process.
Students are welcome to attend with families.
All will benefit from the valuable information the representatives have to share! This is NOT a college-specific admission presentation. This event will complement the all-district junior parent meeting hosted by the Forest Hills counseling team later this fall. The date will be announced soon.
If you have a specific question you would like addressed at the event,
please send an email to Mary Vonck at maryvonck@gmail.com.
Parent/Guardian Volunteers for the District Book Reconsideration Committee
Forest Hills Public Schools is creating a pool of parent/guardian volunteers to participate in book reviews as the need arises throughout the year. When the district receives book challenges, we will use identified volunteers from the pool to form a Book Reconsideration Committee specific to that book challenge.
