HOW TO SIGN UP FOR COLLEGE REP
Learn more about colleges you are considering attending!
Many colleges' admissions offices send representatives (AKA 'reps') to visit high schools to meet students considering their college. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the institution to determine if it is a good fit for you. Consider meeting with a college rep as a good first step before scheduling an on-campus visit.
If you are already planning to attend or even if that college is in your top list, this can be a good opportunity for a face-to-face connection with someone who could advocate for you when it comes to admission or financial assistance. If you've already attended one of their visit sessions (Perhaps you came in the fall of your senior year and now they are returning for a spring visit with juniors.), you can still sign up but come a few minutes early just to shake their hand and remind them that you are attending or still considering their institution. No need to stay unless no one else is coming and you can use this time to make sure you are on track or to gain insight into ways that you improve your status with that institution.
When you are ready to sign up to meet with a college rep, follow the steps below, and don't forget to check back with Maia regularly to see who is coming to Monarch and when!
